Thanks a lot! That was helpful. Yes they are very cute booties, I love to make small projects, and these were the perfect thing. I also knit these other booties a little while ago and they were adorable. Maybe you will like them too! http://tangleknits.blogspot.com/2007/02/baby-booties-to-match-berry-sweater.html
Thanks Again! :)

Hi, Nicole. I've just had a look back at the pattern to try and remember what I did. If I remember correctly I think that when I got to row 27, I k11 then made 12 sts using the same thread that I was currently working with (see M1A 'Make One Away' here) so I ended up with 23 sts on the needle. Then I knit rows 28 - 29 across all stitches etc. You will need to cut the thread when you have made the first strap and re-join it again to M12 on the other side to make the second strap. I don't think this is what they describe in the pattern but I didn't understand what they meant either when I made mine. I hope this helps, they are such cute booties.

I am in the middle of making those booties as well, but I am stuck on the strap part. When making the bigger booties, Row 27 says to co 12 using longtail cast on and Second Strand of CC as the thumb strand. Where do I get the second strand of yarn from? I know in row 20 I cut the yarn at the end of my first color, but thats not the second strand, is it? Hopefully you can help me out!
